Thank you, Naoki-san, for this thoughtful column. I was deeply touched by the way you wrote about our visit to Sakari-san’s grave. I am grateful that we were able to share that moment together, and also grateful to Sakari-san for bringing us together all those years ago. He left us far too soon, but the memories and the connections he made possible remain with us. Your thoughts about people seeking quality and substance rather than luxury also resonated with me. I feel that people today are increasingly looking for meaning, not only in travel but also more broadly in life. A meaningful journey can begin within, as people look beyond simply doing and seeing more and seek opportunities to reflect, learn and gain new perspectives, experiences that truly stay with us.
